Most frequently asked questions of prospective Parentshare Preschool parents can be answered by reading the handbook. This is a quick reference of most commonly asked questions by parents.
How much is tuition?
Tuition for the 3 year old class is $150 a month
Tuition for the 4-5 year old class is $190 a month
Is there a registration fee?
Yes. The registration fee is due at registration time. The fees are:
3 year old class $150
4-5 year old class $190
If I decided to not come will I get my registration fee back?
No. The registration fee is non-refundable. It is used to secure your child’s spot in the preschool.
What is your classroom schedule?
3 year olds attend class on Tuesday & Thursday from 9:30-12.
4-5 year olds attend Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 9:30-12.
4-5 year olds attend Monday, Wednesday& Friday from 12:30-3.
My child will not turn 3 until October can they still attend PSP?
Your child must be 3 years old by September 1st to attend the 3 year old class or 4 years old by September 1st. to attend the 4-5 year old class. This will help keep your child on schedule for entering public school.
How does the parent volunteer part of the preschool work?
For your child to be eligible to attend PSP, each family is required to volunteer two times a month in class. Once a month you are asked to bring a snack to share.
Does my child have to be potty trained to attend?
Yes. You child must be fully potty trained to attend. Pull ups may not be used. Assistance in the bathroom is available for your child from the teacher or volunteer parents.
Can I bring my younger child/children to class with me on the days I volunteer?
Yes, you may bring younger siblings to class. We ask that during teaching times (i.e. Circle Time) that you keep siblings active in another part of the classroom, or close to your side to avoid disturbances. As of the 2020 school year older siblings are no longer allowed to attend on parent volunteer days.
